DESCRIPTION:
"The Old Riverman's Regret" from the album "Marah presents Mountain Minstrelsy of Pennsylvania" which made No Depression's Top 10 Albums of 2014 List. Performed by David Bielanko, Christine Smith and Gus Tritsch. This video was made for the York County Parks Dept. with the help of with our great friends Glenn Vernon, Claudia Albertin, Dave Metty and Matt Henry. It speaks to the storied history of 3 Pennsylvania river towns - Columbia, Marietta & Wrightsville (towns that were pivotal to the PA lumber industry during the deforestation period of the 19th century.) We were very excited to try making a multi-purpose video, one that promoted our song yes, but also one that educates through history and attempts to tell a much bigger story.
