THE WRECK is a three-piece band that was assembled from the remains of a local punk band in Lake Elsinore California (1997) Since that time, their music and outlook has progressed with each passing year. The musical influences of the band are as diverse as it's members; ranging from Punk, Blues, Rockabilly, Bluegrass, Country, PsychoBilly, to even Heavy Metal. This makes it very difficult to stamp a label on them, which is just the way they want it. In 1998 THE WRECK picked up and moved 1800 miles to Minneapolis, where they locked themselves in their basement for nearly a year to become a tighter regiment. Not only did they succeed in doing so, but became a family of brothers as well. Like brothers they fight, love and hate each other at times. Instead of self-destructing they used that emotion to fuel their music's aggressive nature. THE WRECK is constantly looking forward with hope of spreading their visions to the world being eaten alive by prefabricated pop superstars.
