DESCRIPTION:
The Witnesses Showband was formed in 1963 by breakaway members of the Dave Glover Band.They had two excellent frontmen in Tony Morelli and Joe 'Boots' Clarke.Their main fanbase in Ireland proved to be the big city ballrooms.The Witness played on the same bill as Elvis Presley in 1969.They toured Australia and had a very successful residency in Manchester's 'Talk Of The Town'.
