The Thunderbolts: Heart So Cold - Video
PUBLISHED:  Aug 04, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
Originally formed in Plattsburgh, NY in 1960, by 1965 The Thunderbolts had no original members left and had moved their base of operations to Burlington, VT. At this point they consisted of ex-Mike & The Ravens members Bobby Lavigne on guitar, Jim Ricker on bass and Marc Chapman on drums. This song was recorded in Montreal in January 1965, but not released until July of that year. Written by all three members of the band it owes a debt to the British Invasion, particularly the tom tom intro which borrows from the Dave Clark Five while the harmonies pay homage to The Beatles. Available on iTunes, amazon etc.
