DESCRIPTION:
The Third Bardo was a New York psychedelic rock band formed in the late sixties by lead singer Jeff Monn. A few years after the band broke up in 1967, Lenny Kaye started the garage revival with his famous Nuggets compilation, and the Pebbles series that soon appeared eventually included this song on volume three. The name of the group was taken from the Tibetan Book of the Dead, which was heavily promoted by Timothy Leary as a guide for LSD-takers. The band reformed to play Cavestomp in New York City in 1999.
