At the age of 21, Jonny Cade has already made a considerable name for himself, with his intricate and unpredictable productions catching the ears of house music devotees around the world. 'Sir Bombardier' is deep, evocative house in a variety of forms. Lead track 'Shuffle My Timber' is dominated by a thunderous bassline, complimented by Cade's trademark shuffling drum patterns and a delicately sparse vocal from Ria Moran. 'Eat My Chords' heads into darker territory, with ominous bass throbs and echoing mallets creating an engrossing tense atmosphere. Finally, 'On My Own' is by far the deepest of the trio, slowing the tempo considerably and relying on shimmering pads and half-caught vocal interjections to set the ethereal scene.
