DESCRIPTION:
'31st Floor' is the second single released by 'The Tamborines' and is also the opening track from their awesome debut album 'Camera & Tremor', which was released on the 2nd August 2010 through the band's own label 'Beat-Mo Records'.

'The Tamborines' are a fuzz alternative rock band which came to being when core members 'Lulu Grave' and 'Henrique Laurindo' started recording some songs on a 4 track in their own bedroom in West London.

Influenced by bands such as 'The Velvet Underground', 'The Jesus and Mary Chain', 'Brian Jonestown Massacre', 'Dandy Warhols', 'The Byrds' and 'Ride' of whom they've played live alongside front man 'Mark Gardener'. Their live shows have been described as a scalding blast of sculptured noise that best resembles the sweet kiss-punch of 'The Velvet Underground'.

Following the release of their first two singles 'Sally O'Gannon' and '31st Floor', in 2010 'The Tamborines' released their debut album 'Camera & Tremor' was released in July 2010 on the band's on label 'Beat-Mo Records' and acclaimed the band as one of the most influential in the kingdom of indie rock with a Psych/Shoegaze background.

Following 'Camera & Tremor' the single 'Black and Blue' was released in April 2011 and had instant airplay from influential BBC DJs 'Steve Lamacq', 'Gideon Coe' and 'Lauren Laverne'.

'The Tamborines' are currently in the process of recording their second album of which they've already had mastered by 'Joe Lambert' on 20th Jan 2014. MLUTV will be keeping an eye out for that, for sure.
