Marzell Romell "The Superstar MC" Martinear was born August 1st of 1983 during a rather tough period in his mother’s life. She was actually 26 years old and behind bars when she gave birth to him, her first child. She would later give birth to three beautiful girls as well. In spite of some bad decisions and mistakes in her life, she vowed to be a responsible adult and raise her children in the way that they should go.

Growing up in the Robert Taylor projects on the south side of Chicago without a father figure, played a huge part in The Superstar MC's success as a music artist. The Superstar MC was determined to be successful black male before the age of thirty without being caught up in the unpleasant ropes of the system. During those times it seemed as if drugs were the only way to escape from a lifestyle of poverty. Soon his mother realized that Chicago’s south side had no more to offer more than drugs and a hellish life of crime, she began to pray and ask God to lead her family to a place where her children can have a chance at success, as well as a life filled with hope and happiness. That prayer was soon answered Later on as she was flipping through the television, she passed a show called "WKRP In Cincinnati" and right then and there she said "that is where God wants us to move". So within a month she gave away everything they owned, packed up the family and move to Cincinnati, Ohio without ever looking back. They arrived with only the clothes on their backs, a few suitcases and a couple hundred dollars.

There was quite a struggle the first decade of "The Superstar MC's" life. He had to adapt to a whole new culture of people and way of living. But, he didn't let that stop him from finding his purpose on earth. At the age of fourteen he started developing quite an irresistible passion for the art of music and began to write songs. With no one to direct him in the way he should go, he let his passion lead him and he began teaching himself. He tried out many styles in order to find the one that best suited his talent and purpose. In 2002 "The Superstar MC" met Robert "Lazarus" Smith, founder and president of F.I.C. Music, who took him under his wing and mentored him spiritually and mentally as a big brother. This allowed him to develop his gift freely and openly as an artist. With access to a studio at no charge to him, The Superstar MC rapidly began to discover his purpose and started sharpening his talent at an unbelievable rate. His confidence went right through the roof and nobody but Jesus Christ could bring him down.

Due to differences in the path that God’s purpose would take him, "The Superstar MC" continued his journey away from F.I.C Music, with only the hand of God as his guide. Today "the Superstar MC has transformed those past artistic obstacles and opposition of questionable friends into coal to keep the fire burning and will continue to do so until his purpose as a Hip Hop artist is defined and fulfilled.
