GUTTA LU

The phrase born and raised in Dade County means more than

just a hot line in a song to this Miami native. Born April 17, 1985

to a single Haitian parent, Gutta-Lu faced more ups and downs than

he could account for.



Even as a baby, he showed charismatic ways

of garnering attention. His mom knew there was something special

about her baby boy. However, as he grew older the innocent boy she

once knew turned cold as he started fishing with the wrong crowd.



Inspired by“Trick Daddy’s Based on a True Story”, he found exactly what he was looking for. He always had a niche for words, now he had to make

them rhyme. After a few talent shows and featured appearances on

local artist’s albums, with slow progression discouraged Lu thought

the dream was over.



Knowing something had to give, he packed his

bags and moved to California for something besides music.

Who knew that opportunity would land him in the path of another

inspiring artist. After meeting Ben “Durdy” Daniels, who he calls

“The Operator”, the two side by side has been causing a storm in the

Southern California underground music scene. With his southern flow

and high energy, has gained him many fans and opened many ears.

Vol. 1, Grind Hard Entertainment’s The Tragedy Vol.1 and

Opening performances for platinum recording artists such as

“Twista”, “The Ying Yang Twins” and local artist “Murs”.

Gutta-Lu’s track record shows his grind is exactly as he says it is

“Hard”. Gutta-Lu is well on his way to becoming a household name.
