Solvents "Past Lives of a Broken Cello" NPR Tiny Desk Contest 2016 - Video
PUBLISHED:  Feb 02, 2016
DESCRIPTION:
Brick by brick they tore the city/in search of a never-ending flame
Brick by brick they tore down the city/I wanted shelter from the reign...

They tore down everything around you/and made you think you were the same...

They tore down everything about you/I want shelter from the reign

I wanted everyone/to know an endless low/and everything that comes along..with that..dont ask...dont ask..

And all the holy wars/Dont matter anymore/cuz everyones still torn..just like before....before...before..

The broken cello in the corner/knows that it wont be bowed again
Its been neglected by its owner/yet still remembers where its been

And on the way it used to sing/and oh the fingers on its strings/ and oh the way it used to moan/before they left it all alone..

Brick by Brick they tore the city/in search of a never-ending flame
Brick by brick they tore down the city/I wanted shelter from the reign...

I wanted shelter from the reign...

I wanted shelter from the reign...

I wanted shelter from the reign...

I wanted shelter from the reign...
