DESCRIPTION:
Brainy indie pop folk band The Seedy Seeds from Cincinnati, OH is centered around the work of songwriters and harmony vocalists Margaret Darling and Mike Ingram. Often integrating electronic synths, beats, and other percussion into their mix of heady songwriting and earthy instrumentation, The Seedy Seeds defy simplistic descriptions of musical genre. They are fun, energetic, and dare I say beautiful.

The band was in town making their way down to Austin, TX for the annual South by Southwest festival. We met up with them in the middle of a rainy early evening at Michler's Florist and Greenhouse. It was truly an amazing shoot with an incredible backdrop and beautifully intimate performance of "Echo" and "Rise to Receive" that included special guests J. Tom Hnatow on dobro and Robby Cosenza on harmonica.
