The Sedan Vault - Recording at RAK studios - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 09, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
Early 2013 The Sedan Vault headed to London to record a 10-track album with Richard Woodcraft (Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Last Shadow Puppets, Neil Young). Recordings took place at the legendary RAK studios; founded by British producer Mickie Most in the late seventies. Over the past RAK operated as a record company, publisher, management and studio working with artists like David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson and more recently Adele, Placebo and Editors.

For the album 'Minutes to Midnight' The Sedan Vault had the opportunity to team up with Richard and RAK. Two recording sessions have been set out through 2013. The result: 10 powerful songs that combine indie and electro. Big choruses, analogue synths and upbeat drums inspired by songs of Noel Gallagher, Depeche Mode, Gorillaz and Jack White.

This video gives an insight on the recording of the new album. It containts snippets of new songs in working process.

Album out the 21th of April through [PIAS] and Suburban.
