DESCRIPTION:
In '6b Panorama', Aesop Rock poetically describes the view from the fire escape of his apartment block (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orcQKwCMWZk). I'd always wanted to write a London-based homage, but could never settle on an appropriate vista.

When an interview with the Midlands edition of the Metro newspaper turned a passing remark I'd made about writing a lot of my lyrics on public transport into a full-page headline ("Rapper finds inspiration on 205 bus" — see http://bit.ly/205pic), I figured the view from the upper deck of the 205 bus, and scenes on the bus itself, was as good a candidate as any.

The result is '205 Panorama', a poem about sitting on a bus and looking at things. The video was directed and produced by Karim Kamar, who also composed the piano score. (The Ruby Kid, 2013)
