DESCRIPTION:
South African band formed in Cape Town in 1968. They were well known for their dance routines and colourful outfits on stage, and for their harmonies. The initial members were:

• George Carelse – lead guitar
• Robbie Jansen – guitar, sax, flute
• John (Molly) Barron – lead guitar
• Frank Brown – bass, sax
• Bones Delight - vocals

In 1969 they won the "Battle of the Bands" competition in Cape Town. They also toured South African and Namibia before going to England in 1969, where they appeared on "Top Of The Pops" with Tom Jones and The Marmalade. They then supported John Lennon's Plastic Ono Band at the Marquee, and performed at Blazes and Revolution, leading rock venues in London at the time. They were also the supporting act for Creedence Clearwater Revival on their European tour.

On returning to South Africa, Carelse and Jansen were replaced by:

• Gerry Watt - guitar
• Cliffie Valentine - keyboards

They appeared at the Woodstock, Cape Town, festivals of 1978 and 1979, and supported The Hues Corporation on their South African tour. In 1981 they toured the country with Tavares (and Champion Jack Dupree), the O'Jays and Curtis Mayfield, and in 1982 were the first South African group to perform in the Sun City Superbowl, backing Leo Sayer. In 1984 Ronnie Joyce joined the band on vocals, and in later years Ricardo, Theo Watt, Marlon Roach and Angie Erasmus were all members of the band.

This song is from the album "Thank You, Thank You", released in 1986. The album contains 8 maxi singles.
