With time comes change, both in sound and focus. 2006 finds theredracer moving forward, in terms of experimentation and instrumentation, relying more on piano and vocal dynamics than ever before. Now a six-piece, including new members Matt McBride, Logan Pyle, and Jim Rider, the boys pile on more layers of guitar and keys, giving the songs more texture and creating a sound that is more dynamic and relies less on hooks than on creating an overall musical landscape, proving that songs can be both epic and pop-sensible.
