kiDD STAR, born Aaron Payes, heads an Empire built by e-Hop music. As CEO & Co-Founder of the pioneering record label, Live Wire Empire, he helped launch the careers of several EDM artists, such as the Decepticonz, DJ Hydraulic, 3 Bad Brothaz and brought American-crossover success to the European Billboard group, Milk Inc.
Founder and member of the former super group, 3 Bad Brothaz, their production & remixes landed them a #1 Top 40 Hit (which stayed 1 for over 8 weeks above artists 50 Cent, Justin Timberlake & Outkast), became the best selling Independent group in Tower Records in Atlanta, releases featured on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Beatport.com and featured remixers on CrooklynClan.net as well as an 8 year touring stint around the Southeast in every major market.
Born in Washington, DC & raised in Vestal, NY, Aaron "Kiddstar" Payes started his career out of college by promoting the famous underground rave parties "Bass Wars". From that starting point he began his musical career as a DJ which later evolved into producing. He and former group member DJ Kontrol then created the sound, e-Hop, which has now taken shape and brought Electronic & Hip-Hop markets together to form the newest craze amongst club goers everywhere.
Known for his sharp ear & ability to predict the next big hit, Aaron "kiDDSTAR" Payes has been acquiring new talent for Live Wire with the signing of Kayno (Augusta, GA) & Starr Jamezz (Decatur, GA). Starr Jamezz is featured on several tracks off the album, KIDD STAR & The e-Hop Brigade. Her single, 'Big Ol' Trick' is set for release this Summer '10 with her album dropping in 2011. kiDD STAR's commitment to the growth of e-Hop & the e-Hop Brigade started with Live Wire's trademarking of e-Hop in 2006.
