The album was recorded by Bob Frisbee in Auckland New Zealand. It was originally conceived and recorded as two separate 5-song EP collections. It features Graeme Humphreys (Able Tasmans, Humphreys & Keen) on keyboards on the Victory Blues side of the album. It is the most accomplished of Puddle albums; less wilfully odd than the predecessors, possibly even a bit "commercial" (relatively speaking for The Puddle), but still frayed enough around the edges to be recognisable as The Puddle.
