The Prozacs - "Bottlerocket/Crashing" Outloud! Records - A BlankTV World Premiere Lyric Video!

Artist Biography: The Prozacs are a pop punk/punk rock band from Western Massachusetts. Originally formed in 2001, the band has released three full-length albums and various splits and eps on several labels.The band has toured in the US many times thru the 2000's and shared the stage with many national/international acts such as The Queers, Agent Orange, Bigwig, Against All Authority, The Apers, Teenage Bottlerocket, Big D and The Kids Table, The Misfits, Marky Ramone, The Freeze, The Ergs, The Copyrights, MC Chris, The Casualties, Planet Smashers, The Unlovables, Darlington, Bloodhound Gang, The Jabbers, Beatnik Termites, Squirtgun, Even In Blackouts and appearances at festivels like Warped Tour and Insubordination Fest.

The bands latest release is the 2016 released CDEP "A Little Something" on Outloud! Records. The Prozacs are currently in the studio, finishing up their fourth full length album, set for a 2017 release with Jailhouse Records.

About The Video: "Bottlerocket/Crashing" is a tribute to long time friends of The Prozacs, Teenage Bottlerocket, who suffered a tragic loss on November 7th, 2015. With the passing of founding member, Brandon Carlisle, drummer and twin brother of singer/guitarist/founding member, Ray Carlisle, we decided to record two songs in honor of the band and of Brandon.

Our drummer Matty wanted to do a version of the song "Bottlerocket" and singer/guitarist J Prozac wanted to do the song "Crashing", so we did both and combined them as one. "Bottlerocket" features Matty Prozac's debut on lead vocals. J Prozac decided to take a more personal approach with "Crashing" and wrote new lyrics for the song, in tribute to Brandon and the band.

The Prozacs tribute is slated to appear on a TBR tribute compilation from German pop punk website Ramone to the Bone, later this year. This also the debut recording of The Prozacs current line up of J Prozac, Matty Prozac, Paul Basile and Nic Cross.

The band had much help making this tribute happen. Al Liptak at Kirby Productions did an amazing job in creating the video. Kevin Gebo at Disappearing Mountain took great care in the recording and production of the song. George Durbin lll at Cretin Face Design created the awesome Prozacs/Bottlerocket mash up art, and we have received much help from Outloud! Records, Ramone To The Bone, Just Some Punk Songs and Jailhouse Records in helping spread the word.

Major thanks to Ray, Miggy, Kody and Darren for their blessing in releasing the video.
