DESCRIPTION:
The Protocols are an undiscovered, smart band from Liverpool, taking stylish trends from the 60s rock scene and adding their own modern twist to it has given the band a distinctive sound that will have audiences screaming for more.

Mixing the eclectic sounds of these talented lads, with the creative minds of the young filmmakers at Hurricane has created a distinctly original video, with a song that will stick in everyone's head, 'Get Out'.

Matt Bowers (Vocals/Guitar), Ari Papadopoulos (Bass), and Cavan Power-O'Keeffe (Drums) formed the band 6 years ago, working with a variety of rhythm guitarists. Alongside new member Joel Bentley (Keyboard), they have begun to record their first EP. To date the band has played numerous gigs in Liverpool at The Picket, Bierkeller, Mello Mello, The Shipping Forecast and Dovedale Towers, with enthusiastic crowds always wanting more.

The EP will contain 5 tracks, including the aforementioned 'Get Out' and 'Better Day'. Their songs are mostly inspired by 60s rock songs, with elements of blues. With inspirations like The Doors, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, The Kinks, Tame Impala and The Stone Roses, this music will appeal to all generations, with different styles taken from across the eras, mixed together to create a sound that will not be forgotten any time soon.
