Alexei Tsiganov returns to Regattabar with his delicate arrangements and slamming solos, Tsiganov takes his audience on a multicultural voyage throughout the Jazz genre. Alexei will be performing his original compositions and arrangements of Jazz standards on Vibes and Piano. Add Bass, Drums, Percussion, Flute and Sax and you have a fine recipe for an enticing entrée of delectable Jazz with distinct Latin, Russian and Brazilian flavors.

Tsiganov has played and recorded with: Claudio Roditi, Esperanza Spalding, Chico Freeman, Bobby Watson, Victor Lewis, Avery Sharp, Bob Moses, Antonio Sanchez, Boris Kozlov, Alex Sipiagin, Gene Jackson, Norman Hedman, Willie Martinez, Bevan Manson, Jerry Bergonzi, Tony Malaby, George Garzone, John Lockwood, Bob Gullottii, Yoron Israel, George Schuller, Ed Schuller, Anita Coelho Brazilian Ensemble, Ty Stephens and others. He has appeared with his group on WERS-Boston radio station and in Eric In the Evening program on WGBH-Boston, performing original music and standards.

Most recently, Alexei can be found instructing at New England Conservatory of Music when not touring with performances as a solo artist and with his group throughout Brazil, Europe and in and around Greater New England, New York City and throughout the US. His most current roster includes renown clubs such as Jazz Standard, Sweet Rhythm, American Museum of Natural History (broadcasted by WBGO Jazz 88.3), Jordan Hall, Berklee Performance Center, Topeka Jazz Festival, d'Ouro Jazz Festival (Portugal), Chapada in Jazz Festival (Brazil) among others and has toured Jazz clubs abroad throughout the United States, Europe, South America and Asia.
