The Steps are;
the woods are cut into several pieces of woods depends on size required, then carve it according to what we want, and sandpaper it until the body of craft is smooth after that draw the patterns of batik by pencil or markers.
Painting Batik on the woods actually has the same principle as painting on the fabric, but they use particular chemical dyes.

Here are some steps of painting Batik;
1.prepare canting, malam (candle of batik), batik stove and pan.
2.Heat the candle on the pan until it's melted, the flame of stove is not too burning neither too small , in order only to keep the flame on, the heat must be stable,
3. after that Paint the patterns with candle which has been melted.
4. Prepare batik colour with using "indigosol", paint "indigosol" to the wood, and then give HCL with small brush for painting. After that, dry it.
5. If it has dried, give the color to the part that we want to paint
6. after that cover the color we have painted with the candle.
5. Dip the object into a bucket of dye as process of coloration
