DESCRIPTION:
# Our Project: 'The nONExisters'", is dedicated to those specific Progressive Rock Bands who managed to write their glorious History by releasing just (1) one , and only Studio Album!
---------------------
# One of them was : *The Parlour Band*
---------------------
Bio:

The Parlour Band was formed back in 1970 in Jersey, Channel Islands. In 1972 they released their album “Is A Friend?”. The band toured to support Caravan and Khan.

About the Album:

“Is a Friend ?” is a mixture of hard and soft prog rock, a blend of symphonic with a hint of country flavor, and some psych moves. Lyricism, harmony and some catchy presence are some elements that we can find in this album. Excellent guitar work with rugged bass and drums and a lot of organ with some spacey slide guitar effect, make this album balanced between Prog related, symphonic and crossover prog.
