Biog
The No Good Sinners are the brainchild of Aidan Curran. Featuring some of the UK's foremost Folk, Roots and Rock musicians, "N.G.S" mix Roots Music, Soul and classic rock with a jam band philosophy reminiscent of acts like The Band, Grateful Dead, Little Feat, Fairport Convention and even Steely Dan.

Aidan Curran - Vocals & Guitar
Aidan Curran's live music career started in his early twenties while working as a carpenter in his native Canada. He played in the local clubs with his band The Rock Island Ramblers (featuring members of The Bills, winners of Canadas prestigious Juno Award). Since moving to the UK in 2006 to study at Newcastle University, Aidan's songs and guitar playing have brought a strong flavour of bluegrass and blues to the British Folk scene with many influential musicians such as Eliza Carthy and The Park Bench Social Club.
Eliza Carthy - Fiddle
Multi-award winning 'British Folk Icon' Eliza Carthy is only just beginning to reach the height of her musical powers. Twice-nominated for a prestigious Nationwide Mercury Prize, during a 15-year career she has become one of the most dazzling and recognised folk musicians of a generation. Touring since the age of 14, Eliza has worked with a host of artists including Billy Bragg & Wilco, Joan Baez, Damon Albarn, Paul Weller, Patti Smith, The Imagined Village Band and featured on The Rogues Gallery album created by Hal Wilner and Johnny Depp. She divides her time between touring and recording with her legendary parents, Martin Carthy and Norma Waterson as well as numerous pioneering solo and band projects such as The No Good Sinners.
Dave Donnelly - Bass
Having moved to Edinburgh aged 20 in 1990 he hooked up with legendary psychedelic hipsters 'Papas Magic Beard'. Since then, Dave has worked with acts such as Freshly Squeezed, One People, Outa'nationals, East coast Project and Uncle Jack Findlay. Following invitations to tour and session with bands such as 'Salsa Celtica' and home-grown hip hop pro 'Finlay Quaye', David, reunited with Joe Malik, signed to German label Compost Records and together they released 'Diverse' (2001) and 'Aquarious songs(2003) to much critical acclaim and selling over 100,000 albums.
Willy Molleson - Drums
Willy Molleson has been drumming since the age of four. Hailing from Edinburgh, He has played in over 100 Bands and many great gigs including Glastonbury Main Stage, The Mercury Awards, The Conan O'Brian show in New York, The Barbican in London and to 200'000 people in Glasgow Green. Willy has worked with Eliza Carthy, The Mike Kearney Trio, Chris Bradley, Ross Galloway, The Loveboat Big Band, Killer Shark, The Groovediggaz, Diwan and Andi Neate among others
Tom Wright - Guitar & Banjo
Originally from Devon, Tom is currently based in Newcastle upon Tyne where he divides his time between playing, teaching, producing and writing with some of the UKs most promising, up and coming Folk roots acts. Tom graduated Leeds College of Music in 2006 with a BA in Music production and has subsequently produced albums for a number of artists including The Park Bench Social Club and Dogan Mehmet (Hobgoblin Records) Tom is an experienced multi instrumentalist involved in numerous rock, pop, folk and TV projects.
Ross Couper - Fiddle
Ross began playing the fiddle at 8 in his native Shetland. Another multi award winning musician and a former member of The Park Bench Social Club, Ross has toured the UK, Europe and America extensively with bands such as the Peatbog Faeries, Bodega, Maybe Myrtle Turtle, Gaddery and The Park Bench Social Club. At the age of 21, Ross is recognized as one of the best and most in demand fiddlers on the scene today.
