On February 12, 2007, The Outside Looking In, also known as T.O.L.I. hit the road and started their journey playing music. After Releasing a self made Ep "Waiting For Yesterday" in March of 2007, the band played an abundance of shows around their home area, and on into London and surrounding areas.
Opening for such acts as Ten Second Epic, Mobile, The New Cities, Sydney, Johnny Truant, Social Code, Rides Again,The Salads, The Johnstones, and many more, The Outside Looking In has captured a tremendous amount of support from their consistently growing fan base.
After hitting the studio in July of 2008, T.O.L.I released their fully mastered EP "Live Like It's Worth Dying For".
Quickly after, the band sailed off to playing a great deal more shows, taking what they could get, when they could get it, opening for some of the biggest Canadian artists there were at the time. Catching the attention of hundreds on a weekly basis, the band grew, but the tension between the members quickly grew as well.
In early 2009, the band decided they would come to an end, booking two final shows, one for their London, Ontario fan base, and a hometown closer in Chatham, Ontario. Both dates SOLD OUT at the door, and the band went out with a boom.
Here we are, 2011,and it is our pleasure to announce, were back at it for your listening pleasure! After a few late night talks between original band members Mike, and Matthew, ideas were thrown around the table, and after a few quick phone calls, it was decided, The Outside Looking In would return, debuting a fresh new line-up, a fresh new set of songs, talent and a completely new outlook and perception on where they need to be as a band, and where they want to go.
