Director Chris Shimojima sets "All I Want Is You" against the backdrop of Tokyo, Japan, where he recently visited and filmed hours of footage. The resulting work is an infusion of Korean and Japanese influences in both the auditory and visual medium. It also serves as a fitting reference to the original song and music video by M-Flo, a Japanese hip-hop group. The motive was to elevate the concept of a "remix" to a broader scope and artistically deconstruct the original music video, which also presented the busy city and its small cultural nuances that are often overlooked.
