when a mouse put a bomb
In a cat's milk bowl,
it was funny how the milk, all smooth and white
went flying in a million bits into the cartoon night
and everybody laughed at the poor cat's despair
how all that he held dear went flying through the air..

I was sitting in my room
and I took my glasses off
despite the beauty of the moon.
it was funny how the world became a blur
where memories from another time seemed better than they were
and suddenly I laughed at my silly old despair..
