The Mansfields "Frankenstein Twist" became a hit when Little Steven Of HBO's Sopranos and Bruce Springsteen's E-Street band declared it "the coolest song in the world" on his Halloween show in 2009. Since that time, the song has become one of the most played songs on The Underground Garage radio programs inluding DJ's Handsome Dick Manitoba (The Dictators) and Andrew Loog Oldham (former Rolling Stones Producer and manager). The song has been touted by Garage Rock celebrity Drew Carey as being better than the "Monster Mash!" Released on The album Cramp Your Style (Gearhead Records) in 2008, it has been a fan favorite from the word go and a staple of the bands live show.
