DESCRIPTION:
Joel Block, the Block House studio was interviewed by Chris and Martin Theophilus with Phantom Productions, Inc. for the Museum of Magnetic Sound Recording. Joel has worked in audio recording most of his life. He is the son of Martin Block, one of the first DJ's who created the Make Believe Ballroom at WNEW in New York. Joel ended up in Austin, Texas where he created the Production Block Studio and in 2010 evolved into the Block House.
Phantom Productions, Inc. donates the interview video production services to the non-profit Museum of Magnetic Sound Recording.
