The Mad Stuntman is the stage name adopted by Mark Quashie, mostly known by his rough vocals on the world hit I Like to Move It, produced by Erick Morillo And Written By The Mad Stuntman. Born in 1967 in Trinidad and Tobago, and a resident of Flatbush Brooklyn, New York, since the age of nine, Stuntman took his name from the Lee Majors' television series The Fall Guy.

He met prolific US producer "Erick Morillo" through a mutual friend "El General" and the two combined on tracks for Strictly Rhythm Records which they never envisioned to be crossover material. They were proved emphatically wrong in 1994 by the sustained sales of "I Like To Move It". It sold 3 million copies world wide, which a huge club banger. Licensed to EMI Positiva Records in the UK, its chart life was running in a sequence of weekly positions which read 10, 12, 12, 10, 9, 7, 5, 8, 7, 7, boosted by a 40-date club tour. Reel 2 Real also followed up with the Top 10 hit, "Go ", and the Top 20 hits "Can You Feel It" and "Raise Your Hands".

Reel 2 Real returned to the UK Top 10 in 1996, with "Jazz It Up" and "Are You Ready For Some More"

In 2005, "I Like To Move It", was the song track of one of the biggest animated movies of that year called "Madagascar". On November 7th 2008 ''Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa" was released. The movie has a remix of "I Like To Move It" by Will.I.Am from "Black Eye Peas" and the song became popular again so the world continued to "Move it! Move It!" Madagascar style. The rest speaks for itself.
