This is the time of Esssence!



The 3 “S’s” in her name officially stand for “Smooth, Sounds of Success”, but as a powerful and captivating artist, they could easily symbolize “Seductive, Sensual and Sassy”. The buzz surrounding this Brooklyn born, Trinidadian and Jamaican rooted Unsigned Artist is lyrically lethal. She is a versatile songwriter, vocalist, actress, and model. She is an artist who combines Dancehall, Soca, Reggae, Rock, Jazz, House, R&B, and Hip Hop into a sound she calls Twine. This sound is sure to add a unique spice to the music industry worldwide. This is The Time of the Esssence!!!



Esssence has already paid her dues with an exceptional number of club and concert performances under her belt. Her dynamic DJ style has captivated many, craving for her sensual appeal and sharp edged delivery. Her energetic live stage performances has taken her from an All female Reggae World Tour, to many stages and concert appearances with other artists such as Queen Latifah, Busta Rhymes, Shabba Ranks, and Shaggy. She has also graced the stage with such greats as Super Cat and The Notorious B.I.G. Now in 2007 she is upping the ante by being featured on The Good Morning America Show. Delivering outstanding performances at VIBE Magazine’s Fashion Show in New York, JRG Fashion Show "Bikini Under the Bridge", "Ladies Night" at the Brooklyn Museum and at KTU’s Beatstock ‘06’ where she whipped the crowd of more than 20,000 into a deafening frenzy. She also performed at the MidPoint Music Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio and less than 24 hours later was back in New York ripping up the stage at the legendary CBGB’s in one of the last performances before its closure.



Armed with a musical arsenal of material: "On The Road", "Nasty Wine", "Waistline", "Show Me What You Got".Esssence has received incredible press through several web based magazines. Not to mention great feedback from fans all over the world.



When she is not recording or performing, she is giving back to her community by organizing trips throughout Brooklyn to feed the homeless. She recently started a company named eSSSential Needs, LLC in which she plans various charitable programs and events in the future. The “SSS” in the company’s name stands for “Support Someone Special” and that they do. She really believes that even one person can make a difference and aptly named her food drive “Takes One To Feed One”. With planned trips to the Caribbean starting with Trinidad and Jamaica, Esssence is passionate about charity.



With her busy schedule in her music career, and charitable work it’s a wonder where Esssence finds time to breath. With the way her future is looking based on her current success, performances, releases and interest in this unique artist, she will soon be able to exhale a sigh of relief because The Time of the Esssence Is Not Near, it is already HERE!!!
