Biography:

The fusion of metal sub- genres that have been crafted into a progressive, melodic and intellectual composition appears most apt a description for this sound other than the condensed title itself- "Elithia". Whilst drawing influence from more contemporary bands such as The Contortionist, Parkway Drive and Veil of Maya, Elithia remain extensively "metal" citing influence from the likes of Dream Th
eater and Opeth.
The five piece outfit emanate from Plymouth on the South Coast of England and formed in early 2010 with a mere average age of 15! Securing their current arrangement in the spring of 2011 after a turbulent year of local establishment and the release of their debut EP ("No Time for Mercy"), the band have been playing shows over South West of England relentlessly and continuously developing as a musical unit. The cohesive nature between the band projects itself in the energetic and solid live performance that Elithia never fail to deliver.
Having matured and honed their sound, the band recently tracked their new "With Lions' Might" single with Stu Mckay at Studio 6. The release is set for July 2012 and the band are currently highly motivated and working with an aim to flourish further and progress perpetually.
