Adventurous garage rock'n'roll scientists THE KITS are soon to deliver with their second album, 'Lead Us Into Temptation'. They've earned themselves a cult following across Europe and the UK through extensive touring over the last 3 years, in support of previous album 'Primitive Tales' (Dirty Water Records, 2008). This was complimented by shows with like-minded souls The Dirtbombs, The Night Marchers, Band of Skulls, Hoodoo Gurus and The Jim Jones Revue, and appearances at festivals like the Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City.



Now, they've teamed up with producer Chris Bailey (leader of punk pioneers and fellow ex-pats The Saints) to create an ambitious, genre-challenging catalogue. Recorded during snowed-in sessions at 811 Studios in Horsham, UK, the album delivers daring experiments with space and clutter, as waves of slow-burning guitar psychedelia climax into glorious sixties pop hooks. Wild vocal ramblings on various subjects of isolation, deceit, adultery and desperation give the record a manic angle, delivering a quality of mythical story-telling reminiscent of the infamous artists from the Melbourne underground scene from which the band originates.



The Kits' second album – 'Lead Us Into Temptation' - is out on 11th May 2011.
