The band Kings Of Suburbia started out in Gothenburg/ Bridgedale (Lysekil) in 2007, after having played together for 4 years in the shape of such rock and roll bands as “Tennessee outlaws”, who resigned in 2006, and “The Bad Nothings” who carried on for another while.
Few member changes have taken place, musical genious Jonas Ericsson is back on the guitar, the saxophone and the shouting, and now the original line-up that started it all are back to conquer the world of rock with lots of balls, power and soul.
They also felt they needed a piano/organ player, but they didn´t have to look far, since their photographer, Viktor Skatt, turned out to be a mean pianist.
Kings of Suburbia play an incredibly bad-ass mix of 60´s garage rock and psychedelia, soul and some Voodoo rites from the suburbs of Gothenburg/Bridgedale.
They are heavily influensed by incredible bands, such as The Sonics,Question Mark & The Mysterians, Hurriganes, Robert Johnson, Little Richard, Screamin' Jay Hawkins and almost anything that includes some nice fuzz, sexy rythms and a whole lotta soul!
It´s always interesting to try something new, but Kings of Suburbia are here to stay, and to kick your balls all the way to the coke fields of Colombia where you will be eaten alive by donkeys.
