Vic Sadot teamed up in a Berkeley, California studio with Eric Golub to do a new recording of Vic's “Broadside Ballad” aimed at “The Kidnapping Coup” of Feb. 29, 2004 that overthrew democracy and the popularly elected, President Jean-Bertrand Aristide of the Lavalas Party. The coup was organized by the US, France, and Canada and a CIA trained militia in Santo Domingo. Vic sings and plays acoustic guitar and piano accordion. Eric Golub plays the violin.

They later put a UN proxy occupation army in place that brought a cholera epidemic traced to the blue helmeted troops from Nepal. In the most recent “election”, the party of the majority of Haitians, Lavalas, was banned, and Hilary Clinton and the US State Department intervened heavily to put the former TonTon Macoute-friendly night club singer, Michael “Sweet Mickey” Martelly, in office as President of the super-exploited nation of Haiti. You can see him in photos with Barack Obama, Bill and Hilary Clinton, and actor Sean Penn.

This song tells the story tells the story of the Jan. 29, 2004 kidnapping of President Aristide and his wife Mildred and their exile to South Africa. The 2014 video version updates the first version with a new sound track recorded in Berkeley, CA with Eric Golub and Sammy Fielding. The video ends with new photos of the current puppet President of Haiti, Martelly, current US corporate puppet President Barrack Obama, former corporate puppet President Bill Clinton, former corporate puppet Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, and photos of actor Sean Penn toasting Martelly's success and holding hands with Oprah Winfrey in Haiti. There are also photos from recent protests in Haiti against Martelly's illegal election and in the US in San Francisco, CA against Martelly during Sean Penn's visit on Nov. 19, 2013 against his lending a "legitimacy" to the corrupt and unrepresentative installed government serving the corporate captured states now in control of Haiti's people, politics, and resources. #Haiti #Aristide #Lavalas #TruthTroubadour #CynthiaMcKinney
