DESCRIPTION:
A comparison between the Factory, ENGL ECC83 tubes and JJ ECC83 S tubes.

In my opinion, the JJ 83S sounded wider and thick hence giving a punch in the sound. The factory Tubes sounded a little dull and weaker when compared to the JJ.

This is the first video i've done. I simply made this video because I did not come across many who had showed the difference between the 2 tubes, especially for metal and chugging riffing. I hope you guys find this useful. I played the same licks before and after the Tube change. Riffs are from my Band, Predatory. Song - Butchered Truth.

I've had the ENGL Preamp for years now and only recently I had decided to change to the JJ ECC83 S tube. After hearing the difference in it's tone, I wished i had done the change much earlier.
