DESCRIPTION:
Written by Ronnie Corbett, whilst Ronnie Barker was busy making an episode of Open All Hours. The speech was performed by darts legend Jocky Wilson, who charged Mr Corbett a record fee of twelve shillings and sixpence and a ride around the block on Ronnie's golf buggy (rather sweetly named, Ronniebird 3). The vast sum was money well spent however and the game received the Wiltshire Borough Council's Bronze Award for Outstanding Care for the Elderly. The vocal performance took it's toll on Jocky, however, who sadly lost to Keith Deller in the semi-finals of the BDO World Darts Championship that year. Ronnie, spurred on by the genius of his creation, went on to further success penning a 4th series of Sorry! which eventually aired in 1985. Merry Christmas everyone !!
