Bio:

The Nick Wolff Band plays a classic mix of old-school punk tunes. The bands performance can only be described as a wall of athemic hey hey hey and woh's mixed with lead singer Nick Wolff's patented foaming at the mouth rants. Like a out of control train careening from the strip clubs on W25th to the burned out remains of Euclid avenue you gotta come along for the ride.

Formed in late 2005, The Nick Wolff Band includes former members of Pride of Ohio, Fuckin-a Squadcar and former Amps 2 Eleven, Southern Tresspass, Step Sister, Markey Ramone bassist Aaron Dowell. The band's self-released, 2007 debut LP, "The Truth. Told Through a Series of Lies", was recorded and produced by Rancid, Dropkick Murphys engineer Ryan Foltz at Cleveland Audio Studios. “The Truth” has inspired several great reviews and has earned its place in the rotation on several of the best local punk radio shows and Internet streams and got the band nominated for a 2008 Free times music award.

With such catchy foot-tapping, odes to Clevelands dark underbelly suc as "White Trash Love Story" and "MySpace Whore", you would have to be a bitter old bastard not to embrace their celebration of skullduggery. Even while taking a shot at fellow mid-western rockers with such tunes as "All My Friends Bands Suck" and "Stuck With Us", both friends and fans everywhere just hate to love these guys!

But wait there's more. The madness continued with 2009's Cleveland scene music award nomination and the release of the bands 2nd studio album "In it to win it" once again produced and engineered by Ryan Foltz. On their followup NWB layed down odes to basement dwelling slackers in "The slumps", The godfather in "Sollozo", and tough guys in "Tuff Stuff". Just like with their debut "In it to win it" garnered great reviews from Free Times Magazine and from the internet.

The band is currently working on its Third full length release and refining their plans for continued slacking through the medium of Rock & Roll.
