Thank you for watching our NPR Tiny Desk submission. The Hipstones duo (Mark and Anthea) are performing our song "Wise Man" behind our home desk in Brooklyn, NY.

Wise Man is the title track from our third studio album, Wise Man, which was released in 2014. Originally from Sydney Australia, we have been based in NY since 2009.

We have been experimenting with new machines and effects to interpret the regular sound of our seven piece band. Mark is using a Tanzbar to create analogue drum beat's, as well as a TC Helicon Voicelive for vocal effects. Anthea is playing a micro korg.
