Originally done by "Van Morrison and Them" the song was covered and released in the U.S. by "The Shadows Of Night" just before "The Hangmen" recorded the song with an eye towards releasing it as a single. The players: Reekers/Hangmen lead guitarist Tom Guernsey, Reekers/Hangmen drummer Bob Berberich, and Hangmen lead singer Tony Taylor, Hangmen bass player Paul Dowell, and Hangmen rhythm guitarist George Daly.
