Geordie approach to gothic jazz with a grounded leader.

A C V is led by Andy Campio, the bass playing husband of Zoe Gilby; and there are five members (get it?). As well as being a very accomplished player Andy is a prolific composer and his writing forms the basis of this band's performances. He is keen to demonstrate the versatility of the musicians involved so the programme will range through sentimental ballads to heavy rock-influenced pieces with much in between but jazz improvisation at the core. This second album ,Busk, takes their noirish feel into some gentler and more complex areas.
