Swedish band The Deadists' track 'Infinite Self' set to imagery from the spellbinding psychedelic 1972 independent short film 'Lucifer RĂsing'. The original film is directed by Kenneth Anger.

With all amps and pedals positioned to kill, not stun, and riffs dragged up from the primordial swamps, The Deadists second behemoth of an EP 'Time Without Light' sees the Gothenburg five piece head into an altogether heavier, fuzzier and darker psychedelic territory.

Drawing their influences from bands like Black Sabbath, Entombed, Hawkwind, High On Fire, Sleep, The Melvins and Neurosis, The Deadists pay homage to their megalithic musical ancestors, yet continue to defy any specific genre or category.

The live performances of these five musicnauts brings about a perfect symbiosis of energy and raw power, resulting in a blistering all out sonic attack.

So set the controls for the heart of the sun and join the electric caravan as the band drive their audience to a blissed out heavyness....
