The Flashcubes Lost Horizon Wait Til Next Week Live - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jun 11, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
Original members Gary Frenay, Arty Lenin, Paul Armstrong and Ducky Carlisle will play the songs that first caught Central New York's attention in the fall of 1977.

Says Frenay: "The fact that we are still the same four guys who started out in 1977 is something we're all very proud of. We know of only three other bands from the 70s who still perform with all original members: Cheap Trick, ZZ Top and Aerosmith. Not to say that we're in the same league with those great bands, but to point out that staying together over such a great span of time is a very rare achievement."

The Flashcubes play what Frenay aptly describes as "Beatlesque pop, raw energy and a vast repertoire of original songs."

The band recently released its sixth album, a tribute to Roy Wood, the English singer-songwriter who in the 1960s and'70s was a founding member of The Move, Electric Light Orchestra and Wizzard.

a show to celebrate the band's 35th anniversary at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3
