The mods have been done by a friend of mine, his company is called;

I demo the 3 banks [1. Tube Echo / 2. Analog w/mod / 3. Auto-Volume Echo] that I've stored since I didn't see much use in demoing the rest of the unit. There are plenty of DL-4 demo's out there. I just wanted to bring this modded version out there a bit more. Also, I forgot to demonstrate the volume drop, but trust me, there's no difference anymore from clean to delay, the volume is completely equal.

Now and then I'm running the RV-5's modulated reverb in conjunction with the DL-4 and the pedal before the DL-4 that is always on is the Keeley C4.
The pedals I'm running with the Auto-Volume Echo are these:
- ModFactor [deep and heavy chorus]
- DMM
- BOSS RV-5 [modulated reverb]

Also, the recording could have been better but I'm still finding my mic placement, I noticed that there's some extra high-end in there that the mic picked up due to the placement.

I hope this has helped make people excited about their DL-4's again! It's a great pedal on its own and especially, for me, because of the Tube Echo and the Auto-Volume Echo [its swell ramp setup is really nice, better than the Slow Gear or Slow Motion + it has delay and modulation].
The Tube Echo is especially cool because it changes tonal characteristics when tapping a faster or slower tempo. Slower: more mixed in and bassy / Faster: more textural and texture like with more high end and warble. Very unique interaction, I'll say!
