Papa San is considered to be on of the fastest Reggae DJ's in the world which if you have heard his lyrical ability is easy to understand. Since becoming a Christian he has completely changed his style of music to reggae Gospel and Gospel dancehall otherwise known as Gospel Bashment.

Gospel Dancehall has been seen by some as a bit of a paradox. The concept of identifying Dancehall music with the Gospel does seem to be difficult for some people to appreciate and may even be offensive.

However when you understand that the purpose of artists such as Papa San doing Gospel Reggae and Gospel Dancehall is to actually take the message of King Jesus in to dark places where people need to be liberated from the lies of the Devil.

Papa Sans My Story Album really does this job well. There are a mixture of tempo's and styles on the album ... I love pretty much everything on there. The biggest track for me is the reggae Gospel music track Devotion.

Papa San Devotion track taken from his new album my story is just so current and inspires the listener to worship God. It is easily one of my favourite reggae gospel songs at this time.
