D.R.Y. was created at the end of February 2011 . It includes Ran Nahmias (44) plays silent cello and writes all the music, Dmitry Polykov (43) vocals and all the lyrics and since 2014 Itay Sendowski (39) on drums.
Each of the band members came with his own luggage of favorite music and tastes in art. Ran Nahmias parallel involved in numerous projects (theater, dance and music), has experience in film and television). Dmitry Polykov - poet, who wrote more than a dozen collections of poetry published in literary magazines in Russia, America, Germany and France. The musical style is difficult to define and we see it as a very important point of ours work, because we don’t want to be an “another band”. We define our style as post-rock -punk-electro-dark –shamanic-pop and use in shows elements of anti-art. The name D.R.Y. (Don't Repeat Yourself) holds an obvious contradiction, with its repetitive phrases chanted over and over until inevitably crashing down. D.R.Y. is a live act, an action, emphasizes the present therefore documentation and objectification (music as a commercial product) has never been our main concern.

In October 2015 came out D.R.Y.'s first album "D.R.Y. live at HaMazkeka". In July 2016 the band released a first studio album "Spring comes" on Jerusalem independent label Raash Hour.
