Bienvenue sur la page officielle de la version française de « ink », le 5ème album studio de The Dining Rooms publié mondialement par Schema Records. Cette version française qui sera publiée en France le 5 novembre 2007 (Bonsaï Music / EMI) est le fruit de la collaboration de Schema Records et Bonsaï Music et de notre rencontre avec de merveilleux artiste de scène de la chanson et musique française : Rodolphe Burger, CharlElie Couture, Orange Blossom, Kant Onoma…. La version française de « INK » contient 5 titres issus de cette collaboration : « Promise » (Rodolphe Burger), « La Stanza » (version en italien de « La Chambre » de Kat Onoma interprétée par Rodolphe Burger), « Exit à New York » (CharlElie Couture), Thank you (inspiré du titre « Habibi » de Orange Blossom et interprété par le slameur Sean Martin sur un texte original de sa composition). Enfin le même Sean Martin revisite l’un de nos titres phares « Monsieur Dupont » dans une nouvelle version renommée « education of a scoundrel ». le 5ème titre spécifique de la version française de « INK » est un instrumental cinématique et blues intitulé « Calexico ». La direction artistique de cet version française de « INK » a été assurée par Pierre Darmon pour Bonsaï Music.

This version has a different tracklist and 5 new tracks.

Rodolphe Burger and Charlelie Couture, among the coolest french singers, are part of this record, singing respectively "promise"(on the instrumental version of "tunnel", 2003) and "exit a new york"(on "cinemaroma 1", 1999).

Rodolphe Burger resang too, in italian language, the rework Tdr did of Katonoma classic "la chambre" while Sean Martin gave his powerful voice to "education of a scoundrel", slam poetry with attitude written on "m.dupont"(1999).

The fifth track is an instrumental and cinematic blues ballad named "calexico".

This version of "Ink" contains then "thank you?", sung by Sean Martin, and based on a sample taken form Orange Blossom song "habibi".

This record will be released the 5 of november through Bonsai Music, under the artistic direction of Pierre Darmon, and will be distributed by Emi France.
