DESCRIPTION:
Rochester power-pop stalwarts The Demos have been around the scene for more than a decade but now they've finally got their moment in their exciting Genesee Live debut. Formed in the early 2000s, the Demos have managed to stand out in the community, honing a style that alludes to their musical idols such as The Strokes, Big Star and Weezer. Playing tightly wound melodies with an instant hook, The Demos have not ceased to impress and that is what helps them to keep a fanbase that has had loyal followers for years and keep adding more as they heighten their profile beyond Rochester (Our theme song is a rendition of the band's tune "My City"). In celebration of their first video with us, we decided to film an intimate live concert at the band's rehearsal studio last November (and offer up over 200 cans of the great Genesee Brewery's finest craft), playing tracks from their brand new EP, Paramount Clouds, as well as tracks from their 2011 album, Lovely.
