Delilah - R.I.P. (Originally by Rita Ora feat. Tinie Tempah) - Video

DESCRIPTION:
Delilah's music is lit-up by diamond-sharp snares and deep, cinematic strings. Her songs all share a dark and dramatic edge, but the affecting and lingering sense of melancholy is kept in check by a subtle, driving energy. A track like I Can Feel You has a warm, dream-like sensuality and opens up a vast ocean of space for her voice to live in, while Never Be Another One finds Delilah's handclaps and shivery piano notes strung out across a crisply electronic frame.

Delilah was born Paloma Stoecker in Paris in 1990. She moved to London after her parents split when she was still very young. Delilah is, in fact, her great grandmother's name. She says she's just borrowing it, "because Paloma Faith is borrowing mine!"

A year ago Delilah's own album, recorded alongside producers Balistiq Beats and Hyperdub's LV crew began to take real shape. Her meticulous and unhurried approach means there was something like 150 songs to choose from.

For now there is a 18-month plan which involves three UK tours that will take Delilah to arena-filling status.
