PUBLISHED:  Aug 14, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
In an attempt to normalize your life, disaster or unexpected consequences always seem to find their way in.

Check out my bandcamp that I haven't updated in a while. It's got an E.P. on there of some poetry, but will continue to have more material added to it

Lyrics:

Nothing was for sure
Even the sun came out today
And the bloodroots in the garden
Opened it's pedals this morning
And the laundry still got hung
On the clothes line to dry
And all the planes crashed down
On the day that the Earth had died

I got a phone call
From my mother and another
From a debt collector
Of course, I made my coffee to weak
I woke up in bed
With my wife by my side
And all the levees broke
On the day that the Earth had died

I made small talk
With the waitress at Pete's Legacy Diner
She's not the nicest
But that's just how it goes
And the neighborhood kids
Played ball in the street
Every house caught on fire
On the day that the Earth had died

And I gave you my love
And I mowed the lawn twice
My necktie hung from my neck just right
And I kissed your teeth
As I shut off the alarm
And my arms became tired
The whole sky collapsed
On the day that the Earth had died
