Love Is Blind - Video

DESCRIPTION:
This is in the "style" of a classic blues rumba song. The Folk Process is where it comes from. People say this sounds like Kenny WS. I did not hear that song Kenny WS recorded until they told me it sounded like that. I've been playing blues music and gigs for a long time. I just used a standard 1-5 minor blues progression. A Lot of artists use that progression. Where did KWS get it from? Where did Robert Johnson get the 1-5 on Hellhound On My Trail. Did he borrow it from Son House? At gigs when I play this song I always say to the other musicians, like Black Magic Woman 1-5) I also use the classic
1-4-1-6-4-5 with a 2-5 turnaround. Who wrote that progression? Who owns it? Paul McCartney uses that very same bridge on Oh Darling. Did it come from Paul McCartney? They call that the folk process. I be callin' out 1-5 in Dog Minor (musician talk). I just play what I feel. Everything in music is influenced by something else. I used a mesa boogie studio 22 with a 8" #Tonetubby Speaker and a PRS Santana guitar to get the tone that I wanted on that guitar solo. (I borrowed the tone from Santana, Lol) The musicians are David Reo-Guitar & Vocals, Pete Gallagher-Drums, Evan Grosswirth-Bass Guitar, Jim Calire-Piano and B3 Organ, Brian Batchley-Harmonica, Ryeland Allison on "Gleem " Synth. This was recorded at Goldmine Studio in Ventura, CA with master engineer and producer, Jeff Cowan. #DavidReo
